FilterJugs.com is being built as a practical, independent resource for households choosing and maintaining filter jugs in the UK and filter pitchers in the US.
Most buying guides focus on the jug. Real households spend more time and money on replacement filters. Our coverage is therefore built around both parts of ownership: the initial jug or pitcher, and the cartridge system that keeps it working.

Every page is written to separate fact, manufacturer claim, and editorial judgement. Where we discuss contaminant reduction, we prioritise named certifications, published test data, or the brand's own filter specification. Where we recommend a buying path, we explain the tradeoff behind it.
Our next editorial phase is original hands-on testing using TDS, chlorine, hardness, pH, filtration time, cartridge fit, and replacement-cost tracking.
